My name is David from Maple Heights, Ohio (United States). I am 37 years old and have been running for over 20 years. I ran cross country in high school at Maple Heights High. After high school I continued to run and have not stopped since. I have entered many races over the past 20+ years. Since I ran my first marathon in 1999, I have been ‘just’ running and not set any running goals. I felt it was time to set a new running goal. In the summer of 2005 I set a goal for myself to run 25 half marathons in 25 different states. This goal was inspired by the Half2Run site. This goal has reinvigorated my running. I am enjoying running more now than I ever can remember. Passion For Running was started to log progress of my goal and post my running experiences.
